God, I’m sick of this. What’s with this perfection frenzy!

I know you are. Your’e in it. You are. You wan’t a perfect husband, a perfect lifestyle, a perfect mate in all ways and a perfect situation financially, vacation wise etc. But you aren’t getting one. What you get is the opposite. All opposites. That’s how universe works. If you strive for perfecting something, you end up loosing. Leave things be! This is the 11th command. And live your life. Outside is something you’ve wanted to do for the whole summer, what?

– to go to the pool.

– it’s too messy at home, I need to clean

Aha! Mothers and babies, a battle of mess.. right?

– yes…(quietly)

And I say. Don’t battle, let it slide, and go outside. You only live once, or three times or five, or more, but still. Now is the time to enjoy and be free from lives issues, except when I say so, like today as you are sitting here writing to me. Lifestyle wise, perfection is the enemy of happiness. And relationship wise. Doesn’t exist. And mate-wise, not either. And even money wise, no going there today, too many issues to blog about, and then…

Regarding me. I think perfection is divinity never. I like growth. I like evolution and I like progress. Nothing is ever finalized and never sitting unchanged. Perfectionists strive for an end, I am more about flow.

This makes a lot of sense. I have a quote

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Does God show favouritism? How come some people seem to be blessed by God more then others (financially, few family problems etc)? It just doesn’t seem that God is fair at time.
